STEPHANIE and WILL in bubbles of light, opposite one another. The world is all blue molasses. Maybe we hear STEPH’s heart beating really slowly. She’s sweaty and confused and slow.

STEPHANIE: I’m gonna be late for work. I’m working a double today.

WILL: No, you’re not.

STEPHANIE: Everything…everything looks funny.

STEPHANIE: What happened to her? To Leslie?

WILL: Nothing. She just had a kid in like ninth grade.

WILL: She kind of just disappeared.

The song starts to skip. WILL stops.

Come on then. Make it rain.

STEPH throws some dollars on the floor.

STEPHANIE: Crawl for it.
